Bowflex i-Trainer is not designed for use on Macs. We would like to make a Mac Version, but that is some time in the future.

Meanwhile, our software has been tested on a few Macs that use a program called Virtual PC v5.0 or greater. Although the setup and use of the virtual PC software may be a bit complicated, Bowflex i-Trainer has run well in this environment.

How do I save a backup of all the workouts I have created?
The database used by Bowflex i-Trainer contains all user information, workouts, exercises, muscles, and activity information. After making changes and adding clients, it is usually a good idea to keep a backup copy of the database. If the database were to become corrupt, the only way to fix it would be to load an older copy or re-install the software. The database file is named e2bow.mdb. It is in the data folder in the install directory. By default, this is “C:\Program Files\Bowflex i-Trainer\data\e2bow.mdb”.

To backup the database go to the appropriate folder. Right click on the e2bow.mdb file and select Copy. You need to choose a location to save the database, and go to that location. Click the Edit Menu, and select Paste. A copy of the database should appear in the folder.

If you need to restore the database, simply copy the database back into the “C:\Program Files\Bowflex i-Trainer\data\” folder.

How can I view the Exercise Details screen while I am in the Workout Editor?
First, the screen resolution of your display should be 1024x768 or higher to see multiple screens at the same time.

The program itself does not provide a capability to view two screens at the same time. However, it can be run more than one time. To do this, start Bowflex i-Trainer and display the Workout Editor screen. Then start another instance of the program by running it again. Display the Exercise Details screen. You should be able to move the windows around (grab the title area to the left of the Bowflex i-Trainer icon) such that you can see them both, and switch between them.

The main screen may also be repositioned to help see the information desired. You can then view any two screens in the program at the same time. You could even run a third instance of the program.
